Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Amanogawa online store (amanogawa.cloud), operated by Nihonbashi LLC (日本橋合同会社), 1-4 Katase-Mejiroyama, Fujisawa, Kanagawa 251-0034, Japan. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

1. Products

We sell authentic products sourced in Japan, including books, collectibles, kitchenware, stationery and packaged foods. Product images and descriptions are provided as accurately as possible. Packaging and labels may be in Japanese.

2. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in US dollars by default (you can choose another country and currency from the country selector) and include tracked shipping unless stated otherwise. Payment is charged when the order is placed. For the United States, import duties and taxes are collected at checkout and nothing is charged on delivery. For other countries, duties and taxes are collected at checkout where shown; otherwise they may be charged by the destination country on delivery.

3. Orders and availability

Some items are procured in Japan after your order is placed. If an item becomes unavailable, we will notify you and issue a full refund for that item. We may cancel an order if a pricing or listing error occurs, with a full refund.

4. Shipping

Orders are dispatched from Japan (or from our U.S. fulfillment partner for some items) within 1 to 3 business days of availability. Most orders arrive within 4 to 12 business days of the order, depending on destination. Tracking is provided for every order.

5. Returns and refunds

You may request a return within 30 days of receiving your item, as described in our Refund Policy. If an item arrives damaged, defective, or not as described, we will replace it or refund you in full.

6. Customs and restricted items

You are responsible for ensuring that items may be legally imported into your country. We do not ship items that are prohibited in the destination country.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
