Collaborative Support for Children with Challenges: Initiating Child-Centered Case Meetings

This book, published by the esteemed Meiji Tosho Shuppan, is a practical guide designed for educators, counselors, and parents focused on providing effective support for children facing various challenges or difficulties. It introduces innovative methods for initiating and conducting 'person-participating' or child-centered case conferences, where the child themselves actively participates in the discussion and decision-making process. The book emphasizes a collaborative approach, empowering children to voice their perspectives and needs, thereby fostering more person-centered and effective support plans. It outlines step-by-step how to facilitate such meetings, aiming to create an environment where children feel heard and understood. Note: The text is entirely in Japanese.
