Contemporary Crafts: Re-examining the Meaning of Creation

This thought-provoking Japanese import offers a deep philosophical dive into the world of modern handicrafts and the profound act of 'monozukuri'—the Japanese concept of craftsmanship and making things. It explores the contemporary significance of creative production, inviting readers to reconsider the true meaning and value embedded in handmade objects and the process of their creation. Published by Filmart-sha, known for its intellectual contributions to art and culture, this book is perfect for scholars, artists, and enthusiasts interested in the cultural and societal implications of craft. Note: The text is entirely in Japanese. Brand New Japanese Edition.
